Papua Province Long-Term Regional Development Plan (RPJPD) 2025–2045.
The 2025 Papua Province RPJPD will focus on realizing fair and equitable regional development for the welfare of the community, especially Indigenous Papuans (OAP). As an elaboration of the vision, mission, and direction of regional development for the next 20-year period, the preparation of initial plans (Planwal) for RPJPD is being done now because the Papua Province RPJMD for 2005–2025 will be approaching the end of the period.
In accordance with Law Number 25 of 2004 and Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 86 of 2017, it is necessary to ensure the sustainability of the development of Papua Province for the next 20 years through the preparation of the RPJPD document for Papua Province for 2025–2045.
For this reason, socialization or orientation for the preparation of the Planwal RPJPD for Papua Province 2025–2045 needs to be carried out by gathering a number of Heads of Regional Work Units (SKPD), among others, to listen to speakers from Bappenas and the Ministry of Home Affairs. Of course, this aims to ensure a common perception between the provincial government, the Papuan DPR, and the MRP regarding the process of preparing the 2025–2045 RPJPD. Apart from that, it is the basis for preparing the RPJMD in a technocratic manner and for facing the simultaneous regional elections in 2024 so that it is in line with the vision of a Golden Indonesia in 2045.
